West Montrose Covered Bridge – The Kissing Bridge
The West Montrose Covered Bridge is open to traffic after undergoing repairs to a cracked support beam. The Region of Waterloo has placed a load limit of three tonnes, or 3,00 kg (6,600 lbs). Vehicles within the load limit and permitted to cross the bridge are: motorcycles, cars (not towing a trailer) and horse and buggies travelling at a walking pace. Pedestrians and cyclists may also use the bridge.
