The ice started to break up in Colpoy’s Bay near Wiarton this weekend and the sunset was beautiful!
Sunrise over the Conestogo River this weekend with the water running at the limit of the banks.
There was a beautiful red sunrise this morning. The old saying goes – Red sky in the morning – Sailors Warning. Well the day turned out wonderful but a quick look at the radar just now show rain moving in!
Sailing into the sunset is good for the soul!
Taken on Lake Erie last summer
The rivers are opening up with the warmer weather and Mennonite Buggy Bridge is cover with large chunks of ice. Below is a shot I took earlier this winter.
I took this shot last summer while sailing up the St. Clair River. Well to be honest not this exact image. A little digital darkroom work turned it into a reflection on the water shot. In real life you would have a hard time getting this shot because of the boat traffic not allowing the water to be still.
I was inspired by a post by Jimmy McIntyre. Here is a link to his image. http://www.throughstrangelenses.com/2014/03/12/busan-city-skyline/
Below is the original straight out of the camera.
