Alberta Barn

The barns in Alberta are quite different than here in Ontario. They are generally smaller and the boards run horizontal as opposed to vertically here in Ontario.

We found this abandoned barn east of Edmonton. With the sun shining on it’s face and the windmill in the background I could just imagine a time when a farm family called this property home.

    This looks just like the barn at my grandfather’s farm in Alberta. A lovely reminder of my childhood.
