A little experimentation today. This abstract was created from a photo of a building in downtown Toronto, Ontario.

Hillcrest World

The last post featured Hillcrest B&B and in their garden they have this beautiful glass ball. I got this image with the surrounding landscape reflecting in it. I love the colours and the surreal look of it.

Rock Abstract

I love how nature can be an inspiration for creation. I found this rock while walking along the shore of Colpoys Bay. It was not nearly as colourful as this but had some cool lines and  shades of green that caught my eye. With a little software magic I was able to saturate the colours and bring out the lines to create this abstract.

Processed with Lightroom, Photoshop, Topaz Adjust.

Water Abstract

This is a bit of an experimental abstract shot of water flowing over rocks in the river. It was taken at sunset in St. Jacobs.

It is a 3 exposure HDR processed in Photomatix, Photoshop, Topaz & Lightroom

This was taken in Liberty Village, Toronto. Not sure what the missing numbers are but I like the abstract look of it.

Processed in Lightroom, Photoshop, Topaz, Noiseware

Sometimes something will grab your attention and you think to yourself “that’s cool”. Of course it is different for everyone but these sail boat masts reflecting in the water made me stop and shoot a few shots.

This started out as a single camera raw shot. Processed in Lightroom – softened with some noise reduction. I just kind of played around with it the software till I got it to the point were I was satisfied with it. That’s one part of the Art of photography I enjoy.
