Flamed Out!
As I mentioned in my last post I have been in Alberta this past week. We flew into Calgary and picked up the rental car and headed up Hwy 2 to Edmonton. Just past Red Deer Rick and I both spotted this car in a field at the side of the road. The proverbial question popped into our heads. Do we turn around? That would make a great picture! Now, this is a four lane Highway so you can’t just turn around on the spot. At the next cut off we just had to go back. Fifteen minutes later we parked as far off the Highway as we could and trudged through the snow to get our shots of this Flamed Out Car!
Passage of Time
As we come to the end of another year I think back not only on this past year but on years past. Some of these items are from my ancestors and my wife’s ancestors. Each tell us a little about their lives. As we look forward I wish you a Happy New Year!
Antique Pump
Found this antique water pump in St. Jacobs on Sunday when we took a walk around the Village. It’s water pumping days may be over but it’s rustic beauty endures. Anyone know what the BT stands for? I did a quick search but could not find anything.
