As we drove from Banff to Canmore Alberta the Rockies continued to provide a breathtaking backdrop. We found this spot with some open water beautifully reflecting the mountains. We could not have asked for a more beautiful day with temperatures above freezing and a wonderful mix of sun and clouds in the sky.

Happy Canada Day everyone! This photo was taken on Colpoys Bay a few years ago. Since I’m not at home I’m using pictures I have uploaded to my Google Photo account and edited with their online effects. Basically I just used the B&W focal tool and left the flag in colour and the rest black and white. Hope to get some fireworks pictures tonight to post soon.
