Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk 2017, Elora
Last Weekend was the Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk 2017. This year I joined a group in Elora Ontario.
Elora is a village with many tourist shops and plenty of photo opportunities. The group had a great time exploring the village. Each came back with their unique photographic take on this picturesque setting.
Here is my take.

Exit In
Found this on the side of an old building in the Village of Elora Ontario. Looks like someone couldn’t make up their mind. Is this where I come in or go out. Or maybe both! Out of here into there!
3 exposure HDR enhanced with Topaz Adjust.
Stone Arch Doorway
The abandoned building is in Elora Ontario. The limestone construction is typical of this area.

This old stone building in Elora Ontario is full of fallen beams and vegetation with lots of photo possibilities.

Bistro
This little Bistro is in Elora – Just waiting for some customers to enjoy the afternoon.
3 Exposure HDR, Photomatix, Photoshop, Topaz adjust, Poster Edge filter, Noiseware, Lightroom preset. Basically played around with it till I liked it.
Elora Gorge David Street Bridge
This is the David Street Bridge spanning the Irvine River portion of the Gorge.
“The first bridge in this location over the Elora Gorge was a simple wooden span built over the winter of 1847-48, while the second was a bowstring bridge completed in 1859. The third version, built in 1867, incorporated a stone central pier, which has become the bridge’s defining architectural feature.
The current bridge was constructed in 2005 and is the sixth bridge in this location. Local
residents insisted that it retain the historic central pier, even though the pier no longer
supports the bridge structure. For walkers, the bridge provides one of the most scenic
views of the Irvine River portion of the Elora Gorge. If you enter the Elora Gorge
Conservation Area and take the time to hike up the gorge (in the summer when river
flows are low), the view looking up at the David Street bridge from river level is truly
spectacular.”

Garden Gate
This garden gate is in Elora Ontario. Wood stone and metal. Give nature a little time to work on it and they come together beautifully.

Stone Wall and Vines
Took a little tour around the village of Elora the other day and I liked the texture and the vines on this stone wall.
