Flower Art
A little artistic experimentation for todays post. This was created in Photoshop using a texture blend.
Vancouver Island – The S.S.
This photo was taken this past spring on Vancouver Island. Each morning we got up early to catch the morning light. This day we were blessed with a beautiful sunrise!
The Footbridge on the Health Valley Trail
This footbridge can be found on the Health Valley Trail that meanders its way along the Conestogo River between the villages of St. Jacobs and Conestogo. It is a beautiful and relaxing spot!
The effect applied to this photo is a result of multiple process from HDR to texture blending. I just kept experimenting with it until I got a look I liked.
Vancouver Island – Windswept Tree
This shot of a windswept tree on the west coast of Vancouver Island seemed to call for a painted effect. After editing in Lightroom and Photoshop I put it in FotoSketcher to come up with this painted version.
Thought you may want to see the original uncropped version with some minor adjustments in Lightroom.
Sunset Day
Today the Weather Channel created an event on Google+ called sunset day. I went over to the the Conestogo River between Waterloo and Conestogo and got this shot.
Best Seats
There is nothing like a couple Muskoka chairs to relax in and watch the sunset.
This is a 3 exposure HDR processed in Photomatix, Lightroom and Photoshop. Finished off with the oil paint filter in Photoshop.
Cape Croker Lighthouse
Sailing from Tobermory to Wiarton this summer – we knew we were almost home as we rounded Cape Croker and spotted the lighthouse.
Mushroom
As I was walking home after meeting with fellow blogger Allan of Modes of Flight this mushroom with a little plant arched over it caught my eye. After shooting from a few different angles I chose this one and blended it with a painted look.
Lake Huron Sunset
Sailing on up lake Huron this summer I took this sunset shot. The colours blend together nicely with this paint filter. Dynamic auto painter creates some beautiful effects with lots of control.
Cardinal
The Cardinal is not usually associated with Spring but this fellow posed for me last week while on a photowalk with some friends at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Hamilton.
Edited in Lightroom and Photoshop.
Conestogo River Paintography
Here is another sunset shot of the Conestogo River. I added a paint filter to change it up a little.
3 exposure HDR with the paint filter in CS6
Paris on the Grand
This is a shot I took in Paris last year. Paris Ontario Canada that is! The sun had gone down and I set up the tripod on the bridge to catch the lights reflecting in the river.
This is a 3 exposure HDR processed with Photomatix then brought into Photoshop and filtered with Topaz adjust and the Paint filter in CS6.
Mallard
This was taken earlier this winter in Harrison Park Owen Sound. I’ve always loved the colours of the Mallard
