This was taken in Limehouse Ontario at the Limehouse Conservation Area where you can find the ruins of a lime mine and kilns. They were used in the early production of natural cement (gypsum).
There was a lot of debris upstream. Probably as a result of the ice storm last winter. Even though the view was not as clear upstream as I’ve seen in other shots online, it is still an interesting place to visit.

As we continued on along the Pacific Rim Highway on Vancouver Island on our way to Tofino we stopped to take a few shot of the river. There is nothing like the rush of water on a beautiful day with the mountains all around to give you a sense of wonder.
