This is a rework of a shot I took back in 2013.
I have always been attracted to scenes of lone trees. Combined with the water land and big sky it’s an image that is simple yet seems to captivate me.

I haven’t had a chance to get out and take any winter shots yet so here is one from this summer. At this time of year when we are rushing around getting ready for Christmas it is nice to have a peaceful image to rest your eyes on.

Another picture from Harrison Park in Owen Sound. This duck was swimming in the river and stopped for a moment on this shallow rock.
I applied an oil painting filter in Photoshop.

This is on of the photos from Wednesday’s photo walk in the Galt section of Cambridge. It is a fountain built for Canada’s Centennial in 1967. It is located in Queen’s Square.

Built in 1885 this double arched aqueduct road bridge is the only one in North America still in use by automotive traffic. It is located in the picturesque City of Stratford Ontario. Yes, the same place Justin Bieber is from.
